Did anybody try live.com lately? It looks nice but they have a long way to go. Microsoft is creating this to compete with yahoo and google better than what it did with MSN, but there are some fundamental issues with it and they better fix them if they really want to be in the race.

I was really so excited when I first saw popup blockers a couple of years ago. I thought my dream came true to go to a website without worrying about unlimited popups that gets on to my nerves. I was thinking like, there is surely something called happy surfing and I had all these fantasies about surfing the net without any interruptions.

I recently heard about an incident that's related to outsourcing.

Apparently, a radio host at Philadelphia's Power 99 radio think that it's really funny to give a call to a customer service line outsourced to India and use a very racial & stupid language to an employee. I don't know what they are thinking. I heard that segment(Editor's Note: original link to the call removed because the person hosting it had bandwidth issues; see here for more info and alternate links and the comment below for a link to the transcript.) and it's so outragious and stupid. I can't beleive these folks go that low to show their anger(for fun, as they say)!

Is 2 week vacation enough for us who are working in America? It defintely is not enough for me, for sure.

I recently had a chat with some folks from europe and our conversation went towards vacation time here in america. Most of them had atleast a month paid vacation per year when they were working back in europe! And they complained about the vacation time here.

I think there is a strong point here, people here work real hard whole year and they only get 2 week vacation. I don't think with 2 week vacation you can relax and clear things from your mind to start everything fresh after vacation.
