developer.* Wins Software Development Productivity Award
I'm pleased to announce that developer.* has won a "Productivity Award" in the 15th Annual Jolt and Productivity Awards competition in the Websites and Developer Networks category. The O'Reilly Network won the Jolt award in this category, and they are certainly deserving of it. I was happy enough that developer.* was nominated, and was thrilled to accept the Productivity Award (which is a kind of honorable mention award in each category). Sun's Java site and IBM's DeveloperWorks site won the other two honorable mentions.
Thank You to everyone who has in any way contributed to developer.* over the years, which includes first and foremost all of the authors who have contributed their ideas and writings to both the Magazine and Cooperative Digest. Thanks and credit must also go to all of the developers who have worked on all of the open source software that powers this site. This is a good day for the "gift culture" of the internet and independent web publishing.
All the best,
Daniel Read

Congrats- Proud of you!
Dan,
Really proud of your achievement.
Great news. I expected you'd get the productivity award given the other nominees.
