A Smackdown ... of the USA over Iran's non-existent nuclear programme

"When I think of these people [his former Republican allies] I get sick to my stomach and I want to throw up"
Barry Goldwater
This incident, in which US "intelligence" agencies admit that they (lied) (were wrong) (messed up) (needed to reassess the data using string theory) (had their heads up their ass) (choose one) has dealt the United States a stunning blow in terms of soft power ... as stunning, in fact, as its failure in hard military power in Iraq.
I think I'm going to be sick.
The United States has been HUMILIATED by the INCOMPETENCE of the WORST administration in its history, one an order of magnitude worse than that of Warren "at least he looks like a President" Harding.
The obscene gap between the boasting and the incompetence is a Grand Canyon.
Bush is a child, a 14 year old boy, who cannot admit error. He's making a laughingstock and a fool of himself by saying what he said today ... that well Iran might make a bomb someday.
And monkeys might fly out of my butt, replies Hu Jintao in perfect Mandarin to his TV set.
Meanwhile reports of mysterious disease and wild storms surface on the BBC World Service, and some of them are almost immediately suppressed (two such reports, one a few months ago and one last night, were of mysterious illnesses).
