Come Bacchus' sons be not dismay'd
But join with me each jovial blade
Come booze and sing and give your aid
To join with me in the chorus

In place of water we'll drink ale
And pay the reck'ning on the nail
No man for debt shall go to jail
From Garryowen in glory
